In Did the Resurrection Happen, Really?: A Dialogue on Life, Death, and Hope, a gunman opens fire at the college campus leaving nine people dead. Their up-close experience with mortality causes members of the coffee house discussion group to really wrestle with the spiritual and eternal ramifications of whether or not Jesus rose from the dead.

Some find the idea of eternal life appealing, but other students react by attempting to historically deny the possibility of Christ's resurrection. There are just too many unanswered questions:

• Can't I be a Christian without really believing in the resurrection?
• What if it was all just a big conspiracy theory?

In Is the Bible True . . . Really?: A Dialogue on Skepticism, Evidence, and Truth, Nick, a college freshman, is severely confused when one of his first classes brings into question the historical basis for the Bible, causing him to question everything he'd ever known about Christianity. He struggles to corroborate the faith of his youth with the ideas of his skeptical religious studies professor.
